For current Grade 8 DSBN students:

Grade 8 students have the opportunity to reach ahead and earn a high school credit by taking GLD2O – Discovering the Workplace through asynchronous eLearning.

Students must be currently registered to attend a DSBN high school in September to be eligible.

This DSBN online summer school course gives students a head start on high school while building confidence before September—and earning a credit along the way. The course is designed to help students:

• Build strong learning skills
• Grow confidence as learners
• Prepare for a successful transition to high school
